Women in Philanthropy, a fund of the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, recently announced that the group will award in upwards of $60,000 in grants to area nonprofits based on the theme “Protecting our Lowcountry Environment.”
The announcement was made at the group’s fall luncheon which featured a panel discussion with area experts on the topic. Grant guidelines will be made available on the Community Foundation’s website, www.cf-lowcountry.org, in November with applications due in early January 2015. All 501(c)(3) organizations in Beaufort County can apply.
