South Carolina Survivors Have Two Weeks Left to Apply for Disaster Assistance

Just two weeks remain for Hurricane Matthew survivors in South Carolina to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and submit disaster loan applications to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The last day for survivors to register for federal disaster assistance is Tuesday, December 13.

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center on Hilton Head Island is Open Thursday - Saturday:

Thursday - Friday: 9 am - 5 pm
Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm

The center is established as a one-stop shop to assist individuals applying for Individual Assistance through FEMA. Specialists from FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration and other agencies are on hand to answer questions and provide information on the types of assistance available.
