Whatever your plans for Halloween, don’t be a pumpkin! Cut up the night with some spooky spirits, bewitching brews and deadly drinks. If you stay home and concoct your own nightmares or head out for a night howling at the moon, Hilton Head’s bartenders have just the right recipes for you. Just make sure that you party
responsibly. No one wants to be a mummy for real!

Cocktails


Here’s some cocktails that will be offered locally and some other specials we brewed up.

SPIKED APPLE CIDER

Hot apple cider
1.5 oz dark rum
Cinnamon stick

WITCHES BREW

1 shot vodka
1 shot grenadine
4 oz. pink lemonade
1 piece hot ice


HALLOWEEN HARVESTHALLOWEEN HARVEST
Courtesy Midori 1 part Midori Melon Liqueur
1 part dark rum
1 part light rum
2 part White Cranberry Juice
1 part Unfi ltered Apple Juice
1 part Simple Syrup
Juice of one lemon
*For a punch bowl (32 ounces) use this recipe multiplied by 8. Add the liquid ingredients and mix well. Top with apple slices, blueberriesand melon balls.

 

 

SPOOKY JUICE

Vodka
Blue Curacao
Grenadine
Orange juice

PUMPKIN PIE SPICED MARTINI

1 oz Hiram Walker Pumpkin
Spiced Schnapps
1 ounce Kahlua
Splash of cream
Brown sugar to rim glass


GREEN GHOULGREEN GHOUL

1 part Midori Melon
Liqueur
1/2 part Strega
Liqueur or Yellow
Chartreuss
1/2 part Canton
Ginger liqueur
Ginger beer or ginger ale
Add first three ingredients into a shaker glass, add ice, shake, strain over ice in a Collins glass. Line the inside of the glass with strands of black licorice. Pour in contents of shaker and fill with ginger beer or ginger ale.

SPIDER’S KISS

1 part Midori Melon Liqueur
1 part SKYY vodka
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Chocolate syrup
Grenadine
With chocolate syrup, draw a web on the inside of the martini glass. Chill glass. Shake Midori, SKYY and lemon juice with ice and strain into martini glass. Drizzle grenadine down the side for a blood effect.
