The first-ever Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival will be held from 2-6 p.m. Sept. 22 on the lawn adjacent to the Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, at The Sea Pines Resort The event will feature a shrimp tasting contest, food, craft beer, live music, and a fun zone for children, including face painting and bounce houses. It is a ‘Southern Living Inspired’ event, because The Sea Pines Resort is partnering with Southern Living to produce this festival.
Popular local band Cranford Hollow will perform. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit The Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island. Admission is $20 and tickets can be purchased at the door.
