The 2008 Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival offers many fine volunteer opportunities.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS AND CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:
October 30-31: Hilton Head/Savannah Historics Track Day – Hosted at the re-opened Hutchinson Island track, near The Westin Savannah Harbor, this two-day track event offers everything for the avid performance car fan, including exhibition laps at high speeds, autocross and gymkhana courses, and rides in the latest and greatest sports car models.
November 1: Hilton Head Sports & Classic Car Auction – Presented by Worldwide Auctioneers, the auction will showcase many of the finest prewar American and European classics in American and European sports cars, exotic cars and American muscle cars. Car Club Jamboree – A number of invited car clubs, from across the US, will select their best to compete for awards. More than 150 cars will span the field.
November 2: Concourse d’Elegance – Official competition day, featuring more than 150 vintage cars competing for the coveted Best of Show and People’s Choice titles.
Volunteer opportunities include – Ticket sales, merchandise sales, beverage sales and bartending, security, information providers, and customer satisfaction data collection.
