Many students in Beaufort County already wear uniforms, but soon all students in the county will have to wear them. Under the new dress code, street clothing will be out. Elementary and middle school students will have to wear school uniforms starting next school year with the high school following suit in the 2010 school year. That new dress code also bans jeans and flip-flops.
Each school will get to decide which colors students will be wearing.
