The tournament will take place at Chaplin Park, the Hilton Head Island High School courts, and the Van Der Meer/Shipyard Racquet Club courts.
This is a sanctioned tournament and will feature many divisions including: juniors 10-18 singles and doubles, adult men’s and women’s open doubles, open mixed doubles, rated doubles and singles 3.0-4.5, and combo mixed 6.0-9.0. Prizes will be awarded to all champions and finalists.
The entry fee is $40 for a single and $25 per doubles player. Entry fee includes a players’ party, raffle, continental breakfast, snacks, beverages, a tournament gift and T-shirt.
The players’ party, catered by Hudson’s, is from 6 to 8 p.m. April 3 at Chaplin Park.
To enter the tournament, visit www.usta.com, stop by Player’s World of Sports or visit the Island Recreation Center. The deadline to register is March 29 and draw times will be posted March 31.
The tournament is sponsored by Hudson’s, Coligny Plaza, and Player’s World of Sports. All proceeds will be donated to the Island Recreation Association Scholarship Fund and the American Cancer Society.
