Don Foxe, owner of Beach City Health and Fitness, has five easy-tofollow tips for staying healthy this holiday season:
1. Exercise daily – at least get out and take a walk.
2. If you eat out, use an appetizer as your main meal, knowing there are parties and buffets on the horizon.
3. At a party buffet, pile ¾ of your plate with healthy things you like, ¼ with holiday treats you like, and leave off treats you can get other times of the year.
4. Drink alcohol in moderation – drink more water than normal.
5. Reading more, and watching television less equals less stress.
