TCL Foundation announces new officers
The Technical College of the Lowcountry has elected new officers for the 2011 fiscal year, which began July 1. They include Robert Trask, president and CEO of Atlantic Community Bank in Bluffton, chairman; John McCann, retired Wall Street CEO, vice chairman; and Vicky Leitz, retired professional with 30 years’ experience in biomedical research and management, treasurer. New trustees include Steve Carb, Derrick Coaxum, Ronald Decker, Russell Patterson, P.A., and Sarah Reed.

Habitat for Humanity hires development specialist
