wilsonA new business book, The Right Leader; Selecting Executives Who Fit (John Wiley & Sons, 2009) illustrates and details a model for determining how well an executive will match the needs of an organization and fit with its culture.

The book is based on a “Match-Fit” model originally developed by Jack Wilson, a current resident of Hilton Head Island and an executive career consultant. He founded Career Sciences in Ridgefield, Conn., and worked with the book’s author, Nat Stoddard, in New York City during the late ‘90s. Wilson first presented the model to an executive workshop in June 2001, shortly after relocating to the Hilton Head area and is currently affiliated with New Directions Inc., in Boston, Mass.

For more information, call Wilson at (843) 342-7840.
