New chef, servers at WiseGuys restaurant
Chef Keith Jodway has joined WiseGuys restaurant and lounge on Hilton Head Island as the new chef de cuisine. Jodway was classically trained in the Michelin star restaurants of Chamberry, France, and forged his craft in New York City. New staff, board members named at PAL
In anticipation of opening its new Adoption Center at Riverwalk Business Park in Okatie, Palmetto Animal League has hired Tallulah Trice as shelter operations manager. Trice brings more than 10 years in animal rescue, dog training and fundraising to the PAL team. In other news, PAL recently announced its board of directors for 2010-11. They are: Pam Thomas Dyer, president; Wendy Schlegel, vice president and secretary; Judy Spooner, treasurer; and directors Joseph Baker, Andy Billesdon, Bobby Glover, Kim Malphrus and Mark Robertson. IJGA partners with Bridgestone Golf
The Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy and the International Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Bridgestone Golf, which will become the title sponsor of the 2010 IJGT Tournament of Champions, held at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla. In other news, IJGA has launched a new College Prep Program, which is designed to help junior golfers get noticed by collegiate golf coaches to ultimately attend the college of their dreams. The program will include a customized approach to each student so they effectively develop a swing video, tournament schedule, resume and cover letter to send to college coaches.
