Chamber wins marketing awards
The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce has earned two marketing awards from Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International. The chamber won a Silver Award for a campaign targeting the luxury market in the Northeast. The Hilton Head 09 Insider Campaign merited a Bronze Award for the displays at the Charlotte International Airport.
Ford wins Hall of Fame award
Leslie Ford, of RE/MAX Island Realty, was recently presented with the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award, which honors successful agents who have earned more than $1 million in commissions during their careers with the company.
Townhome at Hampton Lake wins awards
A WeldenField Vacation Townhome at Hampton Lake took home three awards at the 10th Annual LightHouse Awards Ceremony, which celebrates the Lowcountry’s most talented builders. VIM receives ‘angel’ status
Volunteers in Medicine recently received “angel” status from South Carolina Secretary of State Mark Hammond, who announced his annual Scrooges and Angels for 2009. VIM was one of 10 Angels and one Honorary Angel honored. The Angels are organizations that exemplify charitable giving in South Carolina.
